Early Learners Program is for preschoolers preparing for kindergarten, and for current PM kindergartners in need of strengthening their reading, writing, and math skills. We meet twice a week for an hour each day, and then another group comes in for an hour, so we hold two sessions a morning, twice a week. Educational background is not required, just a willingness to work with young children with guidance provided. There will always be two adults on the NEST bus, and 1-4 children an hour, typically 1-2 children. Please wear comfortable "play clothes" as we will use playdough, markers, occasionally paint, and have lots of fun! If we also recruit another lead teacher (educational background helps, but not required) and a driver tutor, we can offer ELP at Westover Village Apts., too, as we have in the past five years or so.
